Research Mini-Symposium for Summer Students

On June 27, from 9 am-1:30 pm in Gerstenzang 121, the Division of Science will hold a Research Mini-Symposium and Early Careers Panel.

Faculty throughout the division will give short talks on their research and their path to becoming professional scientists.  These talks will be followed by lunch and a early careers panel featuring post docs and graduate students at various stages in their studies.

These talks are particularly intended to benefit undergraduates (Brandeis students and visitors) participating in the Division of Science Summer Research Program, but others are welcome. Schedule follows:

  • 10:10-10:40 Avi Rodal (Biology)
  • 10:50-11:20 Jané Kondev (Physics)
  • 11:30-12 Matthew Headrick (Physics)
  • 12-12:30 Lunch break
  • 12:30-1:30 Early Careers Panel
